Betty Louise (Morrill) Dodson

Betty Louise Dodson, age 82 passed away on March 29, 2024, in Lakeview, Oregon.

Betty was born in Sweet Home, Oregon on January 6, 1942, to Chester and Edith (Neasham) Morrill.

Betty was an Oregon girl her entire life. Being born in Sweet Home and living in Lakeview, Silver Lake, and Bly, until her passing in Lakeview. 

Betty owned Bar-Bets Ceramics from (1979-1983). She was also a waitress at Pizza Villa, she cooked at Lake City Jail, and did customer service at Papa’s smokehouse.

Betty was an avid bowler getting recognition for her talent in the sport. She also likes to collect bells. Betty enjoyed hunting with her husband and was very good at it. She played cards and cribbage and belonged to a couple card clubs that played often.

Betty is survived by her three children, James Brett (Lori) Dodson of Fernley, NV, Brenda Sue Pochop of Lakeview, OR, Blain Chester (Lori) Dodson of Corpus Christi, TX and many friends who loved her dearly.

Preceded by her parents, her husband Clifford Dodson and one brother Duane Morill

A celebration of life for Betty will be held on June 29, 2024, at the Eagles Lodge in Lakeview, OR from 1-5 PM.

Memorial contributions can be made in Betty’s memory to the Cancer Tavel Fund in C/O Lake District Hospital at 700 south J street Lakeview, Oregon, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
